1. Away race – Mallorca 70.3
There has been quite a bit of interest from various F4L athletes for this – those who have entered the race include: Mark Lose, David Walton, Mick Golightly, Helen Jones, Kath Spoor, Lisa Sutton, Hesus Kidd and Richard Agan. If you want to do this then you’ll need to enter quick as the event is filling up.

The race is on Saturday 12th May – we are going Wednesday to Tuesday – which worked really well in 2011. Race website: www.ironmanmallorca.com – course is a sea swim (flattest sea I’ve seen), bike has one mountain which is long and steady but otherwise predominantly flat, run pan flat.

Excellent to have a target to get us through the winter and family’s are welcome to come. Alcudia is excellent to chill out for a few days with the family too…

2. Date for your diary – Saturday 10th December

As the track sessions have been popular and well attended I’m organising a run session (it may be track / but may also be social run up the coast) on Saturday 10th December (in the morning) and then thought it would be cool to go for a spot of lunch somewhere locally as a group… more details to follow…

3. Racing for F4L Coaching in 2012
I have had a few enquiries about racing for F4L Coaching in 2012… simply, you are all welcome, as an F4L coached athlete, to race in the F4L Coaching colours – F4L Coaching is a registered team with British Triathlon – simply enter your races as ‘F4L Coaching’. As I have said before I fully understand that you may have other commitments e.g. sponsored teams, RAF etc – currently there is no obligation to race for F4L Coaching – however it is something I am moving towards longer term. To race for F4L I would prefer you to wear F4L tri kit and I’ll be putting an order in after xmas to be ready for 2012 season.

4. Swim Clinics for January / February 2012
Ok – new record set – sold out in less than 12 hours! As always F4L athletes get first look at the sessions, but it is always first come, first served. What can I say – other than I’ll have organise some more…

5. Last chance to sign up at 2011 prices
